Remember when I told you about people painting rocks to look like strawberries to distract critters from the real thing in their gardens ? Oh yes, that was pretty genius. Am I right?
Well, now that fall is near, there’s a new trend in town. And of course, as always, I’m happy to tell you all about it. So let’s get started.
Those fake rock strawberries do look like the real thing, right?
I love that idea, and next year I definitely need to implement it in my garden. I admit I was a bit lazy this summer, and I didn’t end up growing any strawberries. Oh, well!
But there’s definitely time to do something similar for the fall.

And let me tell you about this idea. It’s pretty much the same thing as painting rocks to look like strawberries, but this time you’re not trying to fool birds.
You’re basically doing it just for fun.
And at the same time, you’re making your garden over to be more festive for the fall. Now, if you’re not into this idea, then I say maybe you’re kind of a grouch, ha, ha!
There are plenty of ideas that you can come up with here.
But check this out. Isn’t this so cute? I absolutely love it. This spooky rock is the cutest thing ever. Now, I need to get some rocks, ha, ha!
And get a load of this idea.

When you make these festive pumpkins, you can use them for a scavenger hunt for your kiddos. Aha! I bet they’re going to adore this too. It’s so simple and fun. Don’t you think so?
If you’re really crafty, you can go to town with this concept.
Check out what this talented person did here. Oh my goodness, wow! I had no idea this was even a painted rock. It’s like a work of art, no?
I truly love all these creative ideas here.
These pumpkin ghosts are speaking to me, hee-hee. It’s been a while since I’ve painted anything, but I’m up to the challenge. Guys, I really want to do this for our backyard this fall.
And then look at these spiders.
Oh my, I can’t get over all these fun concepts. Why is it that I haven’t heard of this idea before, huh? I would have been all over it. What a cool project you can do with your kids, no?
So what do you think of this?
Would you do this for your garden this fall? I’m so into it, I have to admit. This would be such a fun little project to hone your painting skills, that’s for sure.
And the kiddos are going to love it, too. If you do this, I want to see all your beautiful creations, okay?
