Grieving for a loved one is always incredibly difficult, no matter what circumstances, but there will always be pressure on those associated with a celebrity who has passed to make a public statement about the death and the loss.
Adam Savage has done so in an incredibly touching way after the tragic and untimely loss of co-host and friend Grant Imahara.
The news broke about Grant Imahara’s tragic death on July 14th.

The Hollywood Reporter reported early on July 14th that Grant Imahara, best known as a co-host on the show Mythbusters had passed away from a brain aneurysm at the age of 49.
“We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant,” said a spokesperson for Discovery in a statement.

“He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” they continued.
Fellow *Mythbusters* star Adam Savage has responded to the tragic news.

“I’m at a loss. No words. I’ve been part of two big families with Grant Imahara over the last 22 years,” Adam wrote on Twitter in a message that has been shared over 50 thousand times.
Adam continued his touching message.

“Grant was a truly brilliant engineer, artist and performer, but also just such a generous, easygoing, and gentle PERSON. Working with Grant was so much fun. I’ll miss my friend,” he wrote.
