There are so many times that a really great movie — or even the bad ones — have perfect one-liners and quotes that you can’t help but use in your everyday life. If you haven’t used any of these before, we suggest you start.

Who would have thought that this tiny line in Mean Girls would be so iconic? I definitely use this anytime someone does something awesome.

When something doesn’t go your way, who hasn’t sung this to themselves for a little motivation?

Jim Carrey is just full of great quotes that we reuse over and over again. Even if you haven’t seen Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, you’ve probably still heard this one said from time to time.
5. “You’re killing me, Smalls!”
Ah, Sandlot . What a ’90s classic to use when you’re even the slightest bit frustrated.
6. “You are a sad, strange little man.”
Toy Story, we owe a lot to you. If you say this to someone who’s acting a little weird, they’d better understand the reference. Otherwise, unfriend them immediately.
7. “That’ll do, Donkey.”
A close runner-up may be: “In the morning, I’m making waffles.” Shrek is jam-packed with perfect quotes.
8. “That’s just, like, your opinion, man.”
