Strahan shocked fans and friends alike with a new video he shared to social media that has some people praying it’s an early April Fool’s Day joke.
Michael Strahan is famous for many things.
Of course, Strahan is obviously known for his incredible NFL career (he retired a Super Bowl champion after all!), but he’s also known for his work on daytime television like Live! With Kelly and Michael and Good Morning America.
Of course, I remember him pretty vividly in Magic Mike XXL , but maybe that’s just me.
He’s also known for his iconic gap between his front two teeth.
However, in a video shared to his Twitter with the simple caption “I did it. #GoodbyeGap” it looks like he (at least temporarily) has had the gap closed.
“If I post, it’ll be don’t do it. If I ask my friends, it’ll be don’t do it. If I ask my business partner, it’ll be don’t do it,” Michael tells his dentist in the video.
“I gotta do what I want to do for myself,” Michael then says.
Michael tells his dentist in the video that he’s the “only one” who knows that this is happening. “Here’s the moment 50 years in the making!” he says just before the video shows the incredible results.
Fans’ reactions have been mixed.
While some think the new look is quite handsome, others are praying that it’s an early April Fool’s Day joke and that the gap will make a return once again.
