Just like every mom out there, Megan Fox is aiming to protect her children at all costs. As a Hollywood celebrity, though, it can be much more difficult than the average person to shield your child from the cruel, harsh realities of the world.
Now, the 34-year-old mom of three is opening up about how she protects her son from online trolls, and real-world bullies, who attack him for wearing dresses.
Megan Fox is opening up in a new interview about the criticism her son faces at school after being photographed on her Instagram in a dress.

As fans may know, Megan has three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green — 8-year-old Noah Shannon, 7-year-old Bodhi Ransom, and 4-year-old Journey River.
Despite keeping her children’s appearances minimal on social media, Megan has always been honest about her parenting.

During an appearance on The Talk in 2019, Megan explained that her eldest son Noah is “really into fashion” and said he often wears whatever he wants to school, including dresses, despite receiving negative comments from his classmates.
“Sometimes, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses sometimes,” Megan said at the time.
“And I send him to a really liberal, hippy school, but even there — here in California — he still has little boys going, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys don’t wear pink.'”
She added: “So we’re going through that now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says.”
“He just wore one two days ago to school, and he came home and I was like, ‘How was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?’ ” recalled Fox.
“And he was like, ‘Well, all the boys laughed when I came in, but I don’t care, I love dresses too much.'”

During that same television appearance, Megan explained Noah will sometimes give his input on his mom’s outfits.
“He designs, he draws outfits. He’s very talented,” she shared at the time.

“I did one recently and I had this really beautiful yellow dress on, and he kept draping it in a way where he’s like, ‘If we do it like this, it looks like a diaper!'”
Megan recalled this situation and laugh: “I was like, ‘That’s not what we’re going for this time, but maybe next time!'”
As for dad Brian Austin Green, he has also expressed his support for his eldest son in the past.
Speaking with *Hollywood Pipeline’s* Straight from the Source back in 2017.
“My son, he’s 4,” BAG explained at the time, as per People . “I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, I don’t care. He’s 4 and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it.”
“He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him,” he added.

Now, Megan is opening up to InStyle about the criticism her eldest son faces online, saying he gets ripped apart online by “mean, awful people and cruel people.”
“I don’t want him to ever have to read that [explective] because he hears it from little kids at his own school who are like, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,'” she told the pub.
While it’s so horrible her son faces that type of discrimination, it’s awesome that she supports him so wholeheartedly.
What a great mom she is!
