Mandy Moore has one of my favorite Instagram accounts right now.

In addition to being the most adorable pregnant lady, her vulnerable and emotional posts are why she has amassed over 4 million Instagram followers.
Fans love her authenticity!
Back in September, the 36-year-old announced she was expecting her first child with hubby Taylor Goldsmith.
“Baby boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” she captioned the sweet post.
Throughout her pregnancy, the actress has been candid about the difficulties she has faced.

In an interview with Romper last month, Mandy revealed her past struggles with her fertility and her excitement for her most anticipated role yet — Mom.
“The little things kind of get me,” she shared.
“Like, I was online buying pacifiers yesterday and I just turned to my husband and I was like, It’s real. There’s going to be a little human that needs a pacifier.”
She revealed she struggled with fertility issues, so when she became pregnant, she was careful of her expectations.

“Because of this issue with my uterus, I was very hesitant to believe it and put any stock in it.”
“I sort of was holding my breath until 12 weeks,” she explained.
Now, in the final stages of her pregnancy, Mandy can’t wait to be a parent, and neither can her husband, who is preparing in his own way.
“I think he’s been suited to be a father pretty much his whole life,” she told the publication.

“He’s been gearing up for this. Like in the morning, it’s funny, I’ll reach for my phone and he’ll reach right for whatever baby book he’s reading.”
It seems the pair are ready to welcome their bundle of joy, and so soon, too!
A huge part of any woman’s pregnancy is researching and conceptualizing her ideal birth plan.

With so many options, expectant moms have a lot of choices to make!
Now, Mandy is revealing to fans that she has had to “sadly alter” her birth plan.
Posting to her Instagram story, Mandy wrote:

“Weekly platelet check at the hematologist. My platelets have dropped exponentially during pregnancy and it’s sadly altered my birth ‘plan’. Any other pregnant folks in the same boat??” she wrote.
According to the U.S. National Institutes of Health, a lower than usual platelet count is a common occurrence in mid-to-late stage pregnancies.

The publication goes on to say that if the number of platelets drops too low, it can interfere with the blood’s ability to clot normally.
As we know, Mandy is now well into her third trimester and is expected to give birth soon.
We’re wishing all the best for Mandy and her hubby as they embark on this new chapter of life together.
