There are some things that happen which can make you think that we are now fully living in the future , but these things are not always necessarily positives.
One such moment came recently when a man managed to use his ex-girlfriend’s eyes to steal thousands of pounds out of her bank account.
The bizarre heist was pulled off by a 28-year-old man from China.

The man behind the theft has only been identified by his surname, Huang.
Huang was recently sentenced to three and a half years in a prison located in Nanning, Southern China, according to The New York Post .
Huang gained access to his ex-girlfriend’s online bank account while she slept.

While she was asleep in her apartment, Huang used her fingerprints to unlock her phone.
Once in her phone, he then lifted her sleeping eyelid and was able to use facial recognition to gain access to her bank account and transfer $23,500 out of her accounts.
The ex-girlfriend contacted the police when she had noticed that the money was missing.

The police ultimately came to the conclusion that Huang had been behind the theft.
It was also determined that Huang had stolen the funds back in December of last year.
The ex-girlfriend had been drugged by Huang on the night in question, according to reports.

Huang had asked to meet his ex-girlfriend to discuss repaying her money which he had borrowed from her while they were dating, according to the New York Post.
However, Huang then drugged the victim’s meal caused her to fall asleep.
As well as being given time in prison for his crime, Huang will also be forced to pay a fine of around $3,000.
