There’s no denying that there are a lot of fancy hairstyles out there. Unique haircuts are what make the world go ’round! However, I think you can all agree with me when I say one of the most notorious and hilarious haircuts comes from reality TV mom Kate Gosselin back in 2009.
Now, her daughter, Mady, is poking fun at the 45-year-old.
Kate Gosselin is best known for her stint on the TLC reality show, *Jon And Kate Plus Eight*, which featured Kate and her now estranged ex-husband, Jon, and their eight children.
The show was a TLC hit in the early aughts but was canceled once the pair announced their divorce.
Since then, Jon and Kate have been in a very public feud.
This battle has resulted in split custody of the eight Gosselin children, with Jon having full-time custody of two of the pair’s sextuplets, Hannah and Collin.
In an emotional interview last year, Jon revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his two eldest daughters, Mady and Cara, in “six or seven years.”
He also revealed that the other four siblings have not seen the two that live with him.
“My wish is that all my kids would just be together, like, hang out together,” Jon said.
“Kate and I don’t live that far away from each other and I feel like there’s an invisible wall. They should just be able to just get together. I mean, I have no qualms about it. If they wanna go meet each other, just go ahead. But I feel like it’s more on the other side,” he continued.
“I’m hoping that when my kids, and they will get their license, and when I say my kids I’m referring to Hannah and Collin, that they’ll just drive to school and pick up their siblings.”
“And legally, no one can stop them from doing so,” Jon added.
Jon has also previously made a series of serious allegations against his ex in regards to her treatment of their children.
Since his TLC show ended, Jon has refused to be on any other reality shows and hopes to one day get his children off TV too.
“Kate is not doing the shows for her family, Kate is doing it for herself,” he told the Daily Mail last year. “She always speaks for the children.”
“They say this, they want to do this – unicorns, rainbows and look, flying pigs. It’s all lies. They all have voices,” Jon added.
As aforementioned, Kate has had a few spin-off reality shows including Kate Plus Date , which heavily featured her eldest daughters, twins Mady and Cara.
It seems that since they’ve grown into young adults, the girls are more like friends with their mom than her daughters, which is always so nice to see!
Can you believe Mady and Cara are 20 years old?! I remember when they were just wee things!

So when I saw that Mady had made a video laughing at her mom’s iconic “Karen” haircut from back in the day, I immediately started laughing.
