Depending on who you ask, childbirth can be one of the most painful things a person can experience. Of course, some people argue that it’s not so bad. I know that if I was pregnant, I would be extremely worried about the pain at the end of the nine months, but it looks like Katy Perry doesn’t share that fear.
Katy Perry is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
Not only is she a successful singer and musician, she’s also been bringing us liveliness and laughter as an American Idol judge, where we’ve also got to see her pregnancy journey unfold in front of us.
Katy announced she was pregnant in a pretty typically Katy Perry way.

She revealed the news in her music video for ‘Never Worn White’ where she showcased herself cradling her baby bump.
While this is Katy’s first pregnancy, she’s not at all worried about the pain associated with childbirth.
“The pain will pass. It’s temporary,” Katy recently told the LA Times.

Katy also explained she would not be entertaining any negative energy about the experience.
“Five years ago, I would be like, ‘Get this out of me,’” Katy said of her past disinterest in being a mom.
“But I traced back the reasons I felt insecure about it from my own upbringing.”

“And then I reprogrammed them. Our brain is really malleable. You can reshape it any time you want.”
We’re glad Katy’s so excited about the experience and we hope that the birth goes as smoothly as possible!
