We should all feel confident in loving our bodies no matter where we are in life, but especially after our body has just done the incredibly difficult job of carrying a baby! Too many new moms feel the pressure to “snap back” into their pre-baby bodies as soon as possible, but singer Katharine McPhee isn’t letting that pressure get to her!
Katharine McPhee recently gave birth to her first baby on February 24th.

Katharine and her husband, music producer David Foster, just had their first child, a son named Rennie, just over a month ago. For some starlets in Hollywood, losing the baby weight by now would be a huge priority, but not for Katharine!
Katharine shared this bikini shot to her Instagram page with a powerful caption.

“Loving my curves because my baby gave them to me,” Katharine wrote on top of the gorgeous pic.
This isn’t the first time Katharine’s talked about not pushing herself to hit her pre-baby body.
Katharine opened up about how she felt about the pressure to bounce back in an interview earlier this year.

“I thought I would have this pressure [to bounce back] but I’ve just been so grateful and happy that I’ve had a healthy baby and I’ve felt really good, emotionally and physically,” Katharine previously said.
“I’m so happy that I don’t have this crazy pressure yet to fit into whatever jeans I have in my closet,” she continued.
“I don’t even think about them right now! In my everyday life, I would have an event coming up or need to work out and it’s just really nice to have a break and be happy where I am.”
