Kate Middleton, like many parents, is facing a new set of issues now that her children are at home full-time rather than being in the classroom.

In a new video , Kate is asked, along with three other parents, a series of questions about parenting and home-schooling. One question asks the parents to describe in just one word what the experience of parenting during the pandemic is like, and Kate’s answer simply read, “Exhausting.”
“As parents, you’ve got the day-to-day elements of being a parent,” Kate began to explain her answer.
“But I suppose during lockdown, we’ve had to take on additional roles that perhaps others around us in our communities would have perhaps supported us and helped us with,” Kate went on, adding that she’d had to become a hairdresser and a teacher as examples.
Fans on social media did not seem pleased with Kate referring to her situation as exhausting.

Many believed that Kate’s position of immense privilege meant that her version of “exhausting” was nowhere close to how most people felt.
“That Kate Middleton, Duchess of Something has described her efforts at home schooling as ‘exhausting’. I’m sure everyone in the real world sympathises,” one fan wrote .
Many fans weren’t amused.
“She has no idea what exhaustion feels like,” one fan claimed .
What do you think? Do you agree with the fans calling her out, or do you think Kate has as much a right to feel exhausted as anyone else? Let us know how you feel in the comments!
