Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi showed he’s not just a hero on stage when he stepped in to help a woman in distress on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday night.
The singer, 62, calmly talked to the woman on the ledge, ultimately helping her back to safety.

As footage shared by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department showed, Bon Jovi approached the woman with a gentle wave and a calming demeanor, ultimately helping her away from the bridge’s edge with a little help from his team.
The woman, seen gripping the railing, had attracted the attention of passersby on the bridge.
In the video, Bon Jovi can be seen casually leaning on the railing near her, speaking softly. His approach was unassuming yet effective, demonstrating that sometimes, a kind presence is all it takes to change someone’s mind.
Bon Jovi’s team was on the bridge for a different kind of shoot.

Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake praised Bon Jovi’s involvement, noting:
