Singer John Legend and his wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen, have not been subtle about their negative feelings for the current President of the United States, Donald T***p, and the feelings have definitely been mutual.
Chrissy has even been blocked by the President.
She was blocked for this tweet where she claimed nobody likes him.
The President has tweeted many insults to the couple as well, including calling John a boring musician and referring to Chrissy as his filthy-mouthed wife .
The latest comment came from John in response to a letter written by Navy Secretary Richard Spencer after his termination.
The letter came after a fierce disagreement between Spencer and T***p over the handling of a war crimes case involving Chief Petty Officer Eddie Gallagher, who was convicted of posing with a corpse in Iraq in 2017.
John’s response minced no words.
Retweeting the letter, John wrote that he felt that the President is “a cancer and needs to be removed from office as soon as possible.”
“It will take years and years to repair all the damage,” replied one Twitter user to John.
The reaction was mixed, with some fans thanking John for speaking up and agreeing with him. Others claimed John was biased and they were no longer fans of his or the projects he works on.
“This veteran agrees with you,” wrote one fan.
Another replied , “Dismantling the military from the inside is Russia’s primary goal and they’re doing it. This vet is scared [expletive]-less.”
“If T***p had his way, John, you would be arrested for this statement,” one fan replied.
Another argued that John should be fired from The Voice , writing , “The Voice should fire John Legend for make false statements about the President. God bless America and President T***p. Keep America Great!!!”
While some fans think John should stick to music, others are happy that he spoke out.
