Jessica Simpson has been having a very vulnerable year with the release of her tell-all memoir Open Book , and it looks like it’s not stopping there!
Jessica has recently revealed on Instagram that has dyslexia, a learning difference that effects around 700 million people worldwide that effects the ability of a person to clearly read, write, and spell.
Jessica Simpson wasn’t being figurative when she named her memoir *Open Book.*

The memoir goes into so many vulnerable moments in Jessica’s life and career, including her struggles with alcohol, her struggles with body image, various issues in her relationships, and much more.
Jessica hasn’t finished being vulnerable with her fans now that she’s done writing.
Jessica shared an emotional post to celebrate being included on the Apple Books list of best audiobooks of the year.

“OPEN BOOK, thank you for the therapy. @applebooks, thank you for recognizing and respecting my story. Turning my fears into wisdom has been a soulful journey to say the least. I appreciate the power of this praise with all of my heart,” Jessica wrote .
“Fact: I’m dyslexic and this was the first time I have ever read out loud without hesitation,” Jessica revealed.

“I did it for the listener. I did it for my family. I did it for myself.”
Fans were incredibly supportive of Jessica’s revelation, with many in the comments sharing their own stories of living with dyslexia and other learning differences.
