Fans of Jessica Simpson have been waiting patiently for a photo of the singer’s newborn baby and it seems the wait is officially over.
Before we get into the photos, let’s cover the basics.
Birdie Mae Johnson was born on March 19th, 2019 and weighed in at a healthy 10 lbs and 13 oz.
Jessica’s pregnancy with Birdie hasn’t been a very easy one.
The singer experienced severe acid reflux, swollen feet and had to be hospitalized for bronchitis during her pregnancy.
Oh, and did we mention that she broke her own toilet seat? Being pregnant is tough but it sounds like Jessica really went through it this time.
One of the very first photos of Birdie caused some online controversy
Jessica was mom-shamed when shared this photo of her husband Eric holding Birdie in a blanket-covered car seat recently.
Dozens of people complained that Birdie would be too hot underneath the blanket.
Meanwhile others argued that the blanket would prevent her from being cold and protect her from strangers’ germs.
Some even commented that Birdie was probably being hidden from prying eyes.
If Jessica’s recent photos are an indicator, Birdie is now out in the open and doing just fine.
On Easter weekend Jessica finally let followers get a proper glimpse of baby Birdie
“Happy Easter from the Johnson Family, Party of 5!” reads the caption on her adorable family photo.
Birdie is cradled in her mother’s arms looking rested and peaceful and not the least bit concerned about her photo shoot.
She then shared a couple more cute photos of her 1-month-old
Surrounded by flowers and resting in a beautiful wicker bassinet, Birdie looks as cute as ever taking her nap.
Those chubby cheeks and that precious little headband are enough to give me some serious baby fever!
Big sister Maxwell Drew joined the fun as well
Jessica’s eldest daughter posed for a snap with her new baby sister in a matching floral dress.
