Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has had a rough year so far, from dealing with the death of a beloved family pet, temporarily losing custody of her children, and now beginning the process of filing for divorce from her husband of two years.
It looks like things just got rougher.
Back in May, it came to light that Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, had shot and killed their dog, Nugget.

Jenelle had shared a post on Instagram about the dog’s death, writing, “I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” and adding “You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back,” along side the hashtags #Heartbroken and #Distraught.
Eason has attempted to justify his actions.

“It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger,” he said . “This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive.”
He also said that since the dog had bitten his daughter, if he had given the dog up, she would have been euthanized regardless.
Despite working through this incident, Jenelle filed for divorce six months later.

“Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me and my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process,” Jenelle wrote in a statement on Instagram , adding that “The kids and I have moved away from David.”
The drama picked up when someone left a comment on Eason’s Instagram saying they were glad “Jenelle got smart.”

Eason’s response, “Nope, she’s still stupid,” gathered a lot of attention and backlash.
Shortly after, Eason wrote on Facebook that “since Jenelle has disappeared and I have no contact with her or Ensley, I have no option but to file a missing person’s report,” although it is not been confirmed whether he has or has not filed a report.
Jenelle has now filed a restraining order against Eason.

According to documents obtained by E! News , the order of protection was issued on behalf of Jenelle and her three children.
In the documents, Jenelle claims that Eason’s threats have “escalated.”
In the documents, Jenelle details 11 incidents of Eason’s alleged abuse and manipulation over the past two years.

“Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being,” Jenelle claims in the document.
