If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I believe Jamie Lee Curtis is truly a legend in every sense of the word. I mean, why ELSE would Activa yogurt pick her as their one and only celebrity sponsor?!
In addition to caring about our gut flora, Jamie Lee has made us care about scary movies! Think about it – without the Halloween franchise, where would the scary movie genre be today?!
Now, the franchise is (finally?) winding down, and JLC has some thoughts about it.
After years of speculation and several comeback films, the “Halloween” franchise is officially wrapping up this year.

The film, appropriately titled Halloween Ends , started filming in Savannah, Georgia back in January. While the movie isn’t totally done filming yet, franchise heroine Jamie Lee Curtis recently shot her final scene as Laurie Strode.
I can’t imagine the emotions JLC must be feeling after saying goodbye to a character she began playing in 1978.
The original John Carpenter film captivated fans and is still a classic enjoyed every spooky season. All in all, the Halloween franchise is comprised of 12 films.
Now, Jamie Lee Curtis is reflecting on her role as Laurie after her final day on the “Halloween Ends” set in an emotional Instagram post.
“A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween movies. I’ve made great friends and have collaborated with wonderful artists on these three movies and today my part in the film has been completed and with it the END for me of this trilogy,” she began.
“It’s all because of the fans who have always supported me and more importantly, Laurie,” she continued, before thanking her costars.

“I love this crew and cast and I will miss you all.We can’t wait for the fans to see the movie,” the actress concluded.
I know I can’t wait to see it either, Jamie Lee!
