I bet we’ve all had our share of unusual hotel stays, huh? I once stayed in a motel at a beach town that left something to be desired in the cleanliness department.
However, I think these folks here had even more interesting adventures, and you have to see it for yourself to fully appreciate it, hee-hee.

1. This Awkward Room Configuration
This person was staying at a hotel that had a peculiar room configuration. Apparently, the shower opened into the room, and the toilet was in a closet.
Oh my goodness, ha, ha! Why did they do that?
2. This TV Mount
Speaking of awkward rooms, how do you feel about the location of this TV here? First of all, it’s rather small, no? And second of all, you’ll definitely break your neck trying to watch it.
3. This Linen
I don’t know about you, but I would expect the linen at a 5-star hotel to look a lot cleaner than this, eh? I bet the cleaning staff forgot their rag. That’s one classy move, alright, ha, ha!
4. This Bathroom Decor
I’ve seen some questionable “art” hanging on hotel walls but using pool noodles as decorations is quite new to me. What were they thinking here? I don’t understand it at all. How about you? Do you approve of this?
5. This Elevator
It’s definitely not a good sign when you enter a hotel elevator and see the buttons all out of order like this. I would be very wary of the state of your room when you finally get there.
6. These Salt And Pepper Shakers
You know you’re not staying at a high-end establishment when you encounter salt and pepper shakers like these, hee-hee. Would it kill them to give you something you can use a lot more efficiently?
7. This Restroom Closure
Honestly, if a hotel allows guests to stay there during COVID, they should do better than this. Where are people supposed to go when nature calls? I don’t know about you, but I think this is pretty ridiculous.
8. This Shower
I don’t know about you, but when I get to my hotel room, I usually want to take a nice hot shower. I bet this person wanted one too, but then, they discovered their shower head had barely any water pressure coming out of it. Ugh!

How would you feel if you found a random dirty sock on the floor of your hotel room? I don’t think that would instill any confidence in me that this room got cleaned before my arrival.
10. This Surprise
Oh my goodness, what it’s going on here? No, this isn’t somebody’s pet. The person who rented this room found this little guy on their bed when they entered their suite. I, for one, wouldn’t be mad. How adorable is he, huh?
11. This Toilet Paper Location
What is it with hotel bathrooms and awkward locations of the toilet paper dispenser, huh? How is a person supposed to use this toilet in peace? I didn’t realize what a difficult job it must’ve been for whoever designed this space here.
12. This Fridge
I know it must be a luxury to have a mini-fridge in your hotel room but not when it comes to looking like this one here. I think somebody forgot to defrost it, and now it’s pretty much a mess.
13. This Slap In The Face
“Paid $600 for a hotel room, and they want to charge me $10 for ‘free parking.’”
I guess there’s no such thing as a free lunch, eh? I can’t stand when hotels try to get you on some kind of technicality upon check-in.

I know that finding enough space for a bathroom can be a challenge in some hotel rooms. But do they really expect everyone to fit in this tight space here or what? I probably would, but not somebody bigger than me.
15. This Mesmerizing Carpet
If you’re the kind of person who judges the book by its cover, I wonder what first impression you would have of this hotel looking at this carpet here? It’s making me feel dizzy and weird at the same time.
16. This Outlet
It’s always a challenge to find enough outlets in a hotel room, and then they make it extra difficult for you. I wonder who looked at this job here and approved it. Nice going, man.
17. This Hotel Terrace
So you booked a hotel room with an overview of the pool from the terrace. That must be so cool. However, I don’t think this person expected the door to open up like this here. What the heck?
18. This Curious Bathroom
You should consider yourself lucky if your hotel’s bathroom has one or two towel hooks. On the other hand, somebody went to town here and hung up a total of 12 of them. Why? I guess we’ll never know.
I’m glad to say that I’ve never encountered issues with my hotel room like these examples here.
However, if I ever do, I’ll make sure to document it for all of you. That way, we can all steer clear of that establishment in the near future. Deal? Okay!
