A home invader is the single scariest thing most people can imagine, so when Suzanne Somers’ Facebook live stream was hijacked by a home intruder, fans were immediately concerned. With the prevalence of social media, it’s easy for these moments to be captured on camera, which is one of the most terrifying parts of modern technology!
The actress and her hubby, Alan Hamel, handled the entire situation with such calm and class, which further proves my point that they’re the best Hollywood couple.
Suzanne Somers is the queen of looking amazing at any age.

Her commitment to health and wellness is almost as iconic as her role as Chrissy, the blonde bombshell in the beloved ’70s sitcom, Three’s Company .
I think I speak for many fans when I say she was always my favorite actress on that show.
Needless to say, I never cared to watch the show post-Chrissy, no matter how much I loved John Ritter.
Fans look to Suzanne for beauty tips, but as it turns out, they should turn to her for advice on how to handle a home intruder.
While filming a live makeup tutorial on her Facebook this past Friday, the 74-year-old was caught off-guard by an unexpected visitor in her California home.
Is there anything more terrifying than that?
In the final few minutes of her live stream, Suzanne asks her husband, Alan Hamel, if he heard someone in their home.

Suddenly, viewers heard a voice off-camera saying, “I’m here.”
“Come here,” the actress said calmly. “Who are you?” How did you get here?” she continued.
The Speedo-clad male said he was directed to her house by a friend.

He went on to say he was “terrified” after being chased by either goats or ghosts — the audio makes it hard to tell.
The intruder goes on to ask Suzanne if she knows him, to which she replies she doesn’t.

“Okay, you shouldn’t be here,” the 74-year-old told him before her husbanded added, “This is our house.”
“I’m not afraid of you,” Suzanne told the intruder.
The man explains that he’s “not a scary person whatsoever,” to which Suzanne replied that she’s “not used to people being on our property.”

He told the actress he had a gift for her, but Suzanne politely declined.
During the interaction, Suzanne kept looking towards the camera and giving fans frightened looks.

The intruder is eventually escorted off the property and the video ends with Suzanne telling viewers she is going to call the police.
Now, Suzanne’s rep is speaking about the event.

“As Suzanne was doing her Friday night, Facebook Live/makeup tutorial with Suzanne Organics, the intruder approached Big Al’s bar, wearing a bathing suit (a Speedo?) and holding what appeared to be a flashlight. Upon further investigation, it may have been a solar light he stole from the property,” the rep stated, as reported by ET Canada .
“Suzanne thought he was one of the dinner guests she was expecting later so was not initially that startled. As he was only in a bathing suit, he did not appear to have any weapons.”
The rep continued: “The consummate TV professional, Suzanne knew she was on live TV so went into Chrissy Snow mode making light of the situation and making her signature funny faces for her thousands of viewers.”
“A fan called the cops, not Suzanne, but when police arrived they patrolled the property and stayed the rest of the evening.”
She and Alan handled the whole situation with such poise! We’re glad the pair are okay after the unexpected visitor.
