Technology and new inventions can be hard for the older generation to wrap their head around. Sometimes, they can’t truly understand how to navigate the new world around them, because they didn’t grow up with these gadgets and gizmos.
It’s kind of funny and awfully sweet when we catch them trying their hardest, but missing the ball just a little bit.

Gender reveal parties are definitely a newer concept for the older generation.
Back in the day, you just said, “hey, I’m having a boy/girl.” Today, it has to be an entire production with cakes and sparklers and all of the chaos.

Many grandparents are not accustomed to the ability to look things up at any given moment in time. How sweet of this grandmother to ask politely, saying please and thank you whenever she needs to search for something!

Some people aren’t used to the new culture where we always spend $5+ on coffee. Most grandparents make a giant pot of coffee in their own home for less than $1.
So, when they need a “name for their order,” this grandma had the right idea to name her coffee “Bob.” LOL.

Not for nothing, I’m not entirely sure that anyone even has a computer that will fit a floppy disc anymore. Do these computers even exist? How can we get these family recipes off here?

This grandma asked her grandson to come over and help fix her new cell phone because “it was always showing the wrong time on the front screen.” Turns out, that’s the sticker it came with!

If you are writing down your favorite websites, most people just write the name. This grandma wrote down the entire URL from start to finish, including all of the hyperlinks. Crazy amount of time and effort on her part.
