Actor Bob Saget, best known for his role as Danny Tanner in the beloved ’90s sitcom Full House , has died, as reported by TMZ .
TMZ reported that actor and comedian Bob Saget passed away on Sunday late afternoon.
According to the news outlet, the 65-year-old was found dead in his room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
TMZ states that the Orlando Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to a 911 call at the hotel around 4 PM ET.
The news outlet goes on to say that the 65-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, but the circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear.
The comedian has been on a nation-wide tour that was set to run through May.
Just last night, he was in Jacksonville doing a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, posting a photo to his Twitter account early Sunday morning.
Bob was best known for being “America’s Dad” on the hit ’90s sitcom “Full House” starring alongside the Olsen twins, John Stamos, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Dave Coulier.
His fatherly advice surely got a lot of us through some incredibly challenging times.
In addition to being one of TV’s most iconic fathers, Bob was a legendary stand-up comedian.
His ability to reach several generations and audiences is part of the reason why his loss feels like the loss of a close friend.
Fans have taken to social media to remember the legendary actor.

“Bob Saget was one of the first celebrities I met when I started working in LA. Full House was my comfort show growing up, so I truly, genuinely lost my [explective],” tweeted fellow comedian Isabella Gomez.
“He was still so lovely and gracious and easy. I’m so sad. Rest In Peace to one of the sweetest dads on TV,” they added .

Bob is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and his three children.
Bob, who married Kelly in 2018, told Closer Weekly at the time: “I didn’t think I’d have a relationship again. I was kind of in that ‘just work, make people happy and take care of your kids until they’re 90’ mindset.”
“My daughters love her!” he gushed.
“She’s a remarkable person, and she’s really talented. She’s got her own website and streaming series called Eat Travel Rock .”
It’s clear this pair made each other incredibly happy.
Bob went viral in March 2020 after claiming he had turned into his beloved “Full House” character after going on a cleaning spree.
