I don’t know about you, but I love it when I get to see random new things I don’t normally get to see. This list definitely satisfies that itch.
It’s amazing how people can find such random things during their regular day-to-day lives. You’d think that, like, luck is on their side or something. Or maybe it’s that they’re super unlucky ?
“I finally managed to hold onto a pen until the bitter end.”
I feel like this is the kind of thing that only happens to the most dedicated among us. Most casual pen-users probably won’t ever see this day come to pass. But some of us probably will. At some point. Maybe.
“This building has sculptures of people hanging from the ceiling.”
I can without a doubt say that this ceiling design is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and probably will ever see again. The only thing is, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
“The weird way the cats in my neighborhood sit.”
I wonder if these cats actually like each other, or if they just have nothing better to do than sit around in a pattern. Like, how did they all decide to do this at the exact same time?
“Local pizza restaurant has been missing their bathroom keys for 6 years.”
So I guess that means that no one can actually use this restroom. To be honest, though, if it hasn’t been used (or cleaned) in nearly six years, it’s probably for the best.
“US Bank notes are actually slightly color coded. I boosted the saturation in the pic.”
I think American banknotes need to get with the times and start printing in more distinct colors. Who needs just green when you can have a whole money rainbow? Plenty of other countries already do it.

This actually really confused me for a minute. The center part of the plate is the exact color as the counter underneath. Coupled with the random seasoning, it just looks like this plate has a giant hole in it. Trippy.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen. The fur patterns are so cool, not to mention the heterochromia (differently colored eyes). I wonder if it belongs to someone, or if it’s just an abnormally beautiful stray.

Yeah, you definitely don’t see gas-powered street lights these days. That’s probably super cool, though, even if they don’t provide as much light as the electric ones we have today. It’s so quaint and old fashion and cute!
“A LEGO vending machine in the Orlando, Florida Airport.”
I’m not sure if building a LEGO model would be a good airplane activity, but maybe the machines provide sets that would make for good gifts or souvenirs. Either way, it’s pretty strange (but cool).
“The sands have risen so high, this staircase goes to nowhere.”
I’m guessing that, at one point, the sand levels were not this high. How does sand even get high like this? Where does more sand come from? The ocean? That seems like it would take a long time to increase.
“One of my pills is missing a layer.”
I have a feeling you can’t actually use that pill as medicated (unless it’s just a vitamin, in which case it would probably do nothing). Just to be safe, though, I wouldn’t be taking it. You never know with pills.
“My godparents got me a Bob Ross toaster that burns his face into the bread.”
Okay, but why am I only now learning that these are a thing? Not that I’d really want one (it wouldn’t go with the rest of my decor), but I think it’s really cool in theory. And it would be such a fun gag gift.
“My mom has a turkey statue made from coal.”
The statue itself is pretty nice, but I think the more interesting thing about it is the fact that it’s made out of coal. I don’t know why, it just really is.
Like, how many of us have coal statues laying around?
“This restaurant prices the children’s menu based on height.”
As someone who was a really tall kid (and somehow a very average adult), I see this as a personal attack. What happens if you’re over 5 feet tall, but only 9 years old (true story)?

Yeah, for some people, their veins really don’t like showing through the skin. Which is fine, until you need to get blood drawn or an IV put in. I, for one, am very glad that things like this exist.
“Today I noticed the temperature conversion on the back of my teabag was done incorrectly.”
Yeah, 80 degrees Fahrenheit definitely isn’t the same as 175 degrees Celsius. In fact, it’s the other way around. Hopefully, anyone making tea with one of those bags knows that and won’t think they can even heat water that high.
“This cauliflower I bought.”
Is it cauliflower? Is it broccoli? Yes.
More specifically, it’s Romanesco, which is a real, edible vegetable. It may look like a series of strange, unripe artichokes, but it’s definitely not that. Never seen one in a store, though.
“Saddest box ever.”
I’d say Amazon must be hitting some hard times, but we all know that isn’t true. Still, it looks like, instead of going from A to Z, this box is going from sad to sadder (also backwards).
“The printer in my office uses little paint balls instead of cartridges.”
Apparently, these ink balls are actually more wasteful than ink cartridges (which makes sense, since they’re a bunch of tiny, individual balls). I bet they cost more, too. Why are they a thing again?
“Just accidentally made a rabbit in my coffee foam.”
To be completely honest, that’s a really nice rabbit. Especially since it was made completely by accident. Now it’s time for the person who posted the picture to hone this skill so they don’t get disappointed by the next one.
