There are very few film roles that get passed from actor to actor like a rite of passage. One would be any sort of superhero title like Batman or Superman, where playing the next generation of the iconic hero is an honor for many actors. Another role perhaps even more famous for going from actor to actor is the superspy James Bond.
Everyone has their own opinion on who the best James Bond has been.
For me, I love Pierce Brosnan, but others love Sean Connery. Some people think Daniel Craig should hold onto the part for longer because he’s doing it perfectly.
However, Craig can’t do it forever, and everyone has their own opinion on who should replace him.
A new name is being thrown into the ring for consideration, and I have to say, it’s pretty convincing.
Fans on Twitter have taken to suggesting Pedro Pascal (best known for his fantastic work on The Mandalorian, Game Of Thrones, Narcos, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and The Great Wall ) should take over 007 next, and it’s pretty compelling!
He has what you need for the job!
He has his dashing good looks, his overflowing charm, and he looks d**n good in a suit. Sure, he’s not British, but they can definitely figure something out for that one.
I also think he kind of looks a little bit like Sean Connery! Do you see it?
What do you think?
Are you in full support of Pedro getting the job, or are you still staunchly team Craig? Or maybe Team Elba? Let us know in the comments below how you feel!
