Another day, another strange situation over at the Wheel of Fortune . Now look, it’s the holidays, and everyone is preoccupied with getting ready for the big day, but it’s during these times that we should all be extra kind to one another, right?
So when I saw Pat Sajak essentially take a prize away from a contestant on Tuesday night’s episode, I knew it was not aligned with the spirit of Christmas.
In case you didn’t know, people take television very seriously.

When you’re watching something or reading something, people tend to get completely and fully involved in the content.
It’s a nice escape for many.
And sometimes, what we’re watching makes us very, very, angry.

I’m no saint. I’m sure you can make a drinking game when it comes to all the times I’ve sworn or thrown something at the television in pure rage.
One thing people take very seriously is game shows.
It’s the closest any of us will probably ever get to watching The Hunger Games take place in real life.
One show people love is Wheel of Fortune but unfortunately, they’re a little upset with it right now.
“Wheel of Fortune” is coming under fire this week after some fans claim the show’s rules robbed a woman of her rightfully deserved prize.
WOF contestant Charlene Rubush is going viral after her answer to the night’s final puzzle category has been highly debated online, as per Yahoo! .
Christine’s first guess, “Choosing the right card,” was followed by “Choosing the right… word,” which was the correct answer.
Despite completing the puzzle before the buzzer, her pause seemed to have disqualified her from winning the grand prize — a car!
Host Pat Sajak said:
“You know, this one’s tough, because you said all the right words, including the word ‘word’ but, as you know, it’s gotta be more or less continuous.”
“We’ll allow for a little pause but not four or five seconds,” he continued.
“I’m sorry. You did a good job in getting it, but we can’t give you the prize, and it was the Audi.”
Viewers quickly took to social media to express their upset.
Which, I mean, really isn’t that much of a surprise, is it? With some even claiming they were done with the show unless Christine was gifted her Audi.
All over the internet, people were raging.
Many were perplexed about how this could have happened and why it’s not going to be rectified.
Which, I mean, I get it. I would be p****d as heck if I were this woman.
One thing is clear: fans will not let this one go.
Maybe this is the final breaking point for fans all over watching the show, but a lot of people are falling off the wagon.
How many viewer losses can the show take?
“@Audi can you please give this contestant the car she deserves. She won on @WheelofFortune and Pat denied her,” tweeted one viewer.
“I am no longer a ‘wheel watcher’ because of this,” they added .
Hopefully, this will all be cleared up soon.
