If you can think of something, The Simpsons has probably already done it! That’s probably a perk of being on the air for decades is that eventually, life starts imitating art.
Fans are noticing the latest similarity between The Simpsons and real life in the form of a very familiar outfit worn by Vice President K***********s.

In the 2000 episode *Bart To The Future*, the show depicted Lisa Simpson as president.
Most notably, 16 years before it happened in real life, Lisa comments on how her government has inherited a budget crunch from President T***p.
In the episode, Lisa wears a purple suit with a pearl necklace, which looked a little bit familiar to anyone watching President Joe B***n and Vice President K***********s’ inauguration on January 20th.
Kamal was also wearing a purple suit with a pearl necklace!
Now this is likely because purple is often seen as a bipartisan color (since red and blue combined make purple), but fans were pretty delighted by the comparison anyway, since who doesn’t love talking about the similarities between The Simpsons and real life?
Some people even joked that Kamala did it on purpose in honor of President Simpson.
While I wouldn’t go that far, I definitely think purple was a great choice for both of those women on their first days in the White House!
