Navigating a relationship after it’s ended is always difficult, especially if you’re doing it on social media with millions of followers, like celebrities are.
You don’t want to trash talk your ex (at least not too much ), but overly praising them doesn’t always look good either.
Brian Austin Green attempted to find a middle ground in a recent post with his ex Megan Fox, but it didn’t quite go over well.
Divorces can get pretty messy even on good days.

This goes double if there are kids involved, and triple if the people involve are famous and living through this messy situation in the public eye with tons of fans ready to comment on every little thing that happens.
Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox were married for ten years until 2019.

The couple share three children together — Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. While at first their split seemed amicable, there has since been some controversy surrounding their divorce and Megan’s subsequent relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, including Megan slamming Brian for portraying her as an ‘absent mother.’
The drama between them came to a head after Thanksgiving last year.

Brian shared a photograph of himself and their son, Journey, in costumes, writing, “Hope you all had a good Halloween!”
Megan immediately left a comment in response, writing, “”Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in.”
“I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media.”

“I know you love your kids,” she continued, “but I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram.”
“You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.
“You have them half of the time,”

“Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”
Brian did not respond to her comment, but did delete the picture and re-upload a version with Journey cropped out.
However, it seems like the past might be behind them.
Brian shared a series of pictures to his Instagram story in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th.
Brian shared four individual photos with the same caption “Happy International Woman’s Day!!”, each photo showing Brian with a different ex-girlfriend, including Megan.
Fans immediately began commenting on this decision, and most were not pleased.
Some fans felt it was not tasteful to center the day around himself and his relationships.
“Nothing says respect and empowerment like a mostly-shirtless series of photos of yourself making out with multiple, ever younger women,” one fan wrote .
“I actually couldn’t believe what I was looking at for a minute there. What astonishingly poor taste,” another tweeted .
It was definitely an unexpected move.
Many fans didn’t expect Brian to show public support for Megan after their previous drama, but it looks like for Brian at least it’s all water under the bridge!
What do you think?
Do you agree with fans that it was a weird move for Brian to post these pictures, or do you think he was just attempting to celebrate women in his life? Let us know how you feel in the comments below!
