The world is remembering Steve Irwin on the anniversary of his death on September 4th, 2006.
Steve Irwin was a legend and beloved by pretty much everybody.
The zookeeper and television personality warmed all of our hearts with his endless passion and love for all animals and the environment. Most famous for his program The Crocodile Hunter , Steve made nature and all of it’s bounty exciting and wonderful for audiences all over the world.
Tragically, on September 4th, 2006, Steve passed away at the age of 44.

Steve was filming with a stingray when he was tragically stung in the chest.
Steve’s family has continued on his legacy of conservation and passion for animal preservation and education by continuing to operate the Australia Zoo and through continued work spreading Steve’s message to the public.
Fans are taking to social media to remember Steve and his impact.

Another added , “I will forever miss my hero Steve Irwin he taught me to love everyone of God’s creatures!”
