Singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl is no easy task, so when country artist Eric Church and R&B artist Jazmine Sullivan took to the field to sing the most important song of the night, viewers were left declaring it the best of all time!
The Super Bowl has obviously had *many* iconic national anthem performances.
It’s one of the biggest honors any musician could receive considering it’s so many people’s favorite day of the year!
As you may recall, Demi Lovato did an amazing job last year.
Many people were impressed with the pop superstar’s vocals and she looked AMAZING while singing it!
Of course, many people believe Whitney Houston’s rendition is the best of all time.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since the beloved superstar gave her now-iconic performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Now, many viewers are holding a special place in their heart for the 2021 national anthem performance by Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan!
The two gave a gorgeous, jazzy twist on the classic and so many people loved it!
Their performance was the perfect kickoff for Super Bowl Sunday.
It was powerful enough to stop my boyfriend from eating buffalo chicken dip for the entire song, so let’s just say THAT!
I loved how they took “The Star-Spangled Banner” and made it even more beautiful!
It gave me chills!
“I have a new favorite rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner,” tweeted one viewer .
“That has to be my all-time favorite rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner I have heard in my life!!” agreed another.
Needless to say, their performance will probably be my favorite part of the night!
