Encouraging your children to express themselves artistically and explore creativity can be one of the most rewarding endeavors as a parent — no matter what your child’s skill level is, it’s beautiful to see what they can create when they set their mind to it!
Kim Kardashian attempted to share some of her daughter’s art, but was met with some backlash.

Kim Kardashian is many things, and one of the most important is a proud mom!
Kim is the mother of four beautiful children who are no doubt being raised in a family that values artistic expression — with Kanye West as their dad, it would be hard not to!
Kim recently shared a picture on her Instagram story of a painting done by North.
“My little artist North,” Kim captioned the shot of a mountain landscape.
“Wow, that’s beautiful,” one commenter wrote on Instagram , with many echoing their sentiment.
However, not everyone was immediately convinced that a seven-year-old had painted such a beautiful painting.
“Kim Kardashian’s child did not paint this,” one fan tweeted . “You can even see the photo shop signature.”
Many fans took to social media to express doubt.
“I refuse to believe: the kardashians would not be exploiting their daughters baby genius art skills at some point before this random insta story, [or] -that kim is in touch with reality enough to troll people like this,” a fan added .
However, others felt it was possible.
One TikTok user claimed she knew that North had painted it herself, and that she had evidence.
“I actually can’t believe right now that I’m being put in a position where I am probably one of the only people in the world who has evidence to prove that Kim is not lying,” she said in the video.
She showed herself in front of a painting that looked very similar to North’s and explained her mom was an art teacher.
“My mom taught me how to paint this and she taught North how to paint the same one just two weeks ago,” she said. “She’s been an art teacher for 30 years and everyone that comes through her classes goes through this exact same painting when they’re starting out.”
Kim herself has now spoken out about the rumors.
“DON’T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!” Kim wrote in a lengthy post shared to her Instagram story. “My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured.”

“As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone,” Kim continued. “I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this!”
“How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome?!”
“Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be great!” Kim wrote. “NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERIOTD”
Kim then shared a similar painting done by one of North’s friends, captioned, “They go to the same art class!”
“Shout out to all the proud moms out there that love to show their baby’s masterpieces,” she continued.
Kim also showed off that the talent ran in the family, adding some drawings that Kanye had done in his youth. “Throwback to some of her dad’s artwork that he did when he was a kid,” she wrote.
Many fans took to social media to share their praises and compliments for North’s artwork.
“IT’S THE TALENT FOR ME ! We need to celebrate children when we see them do something like this! This painting is absolutely stunning!!” one fan tweeted in support of North.
She should definitely be proud of herself!
