Rebel Wilson has had a very productive 2020, all thanks to her earlier declaration that this would be her ” Year of Health .”
While 2020 for the rest of us might’ve looked more like staying inside and ordering comfort food, it looks like Rebel has stuck to her guns and she continues to amaze fans with her dedication to keeping herself active!
Rebel Wilson is one of my favorite actresses.
Of course, Rebel has always been gorgeous, and more importantly, she’s always stood out as a hilarious actress in films like the Pitch Perfect series and How To Be Single .
This year, she’s been dedicated to staying active.
While Rebel rose to fame for her character Fat Amy in *Pitch Perfect*, she revealed that while the series was ongoing she wasn’t allowed to lose weight.
“I have been filming a musical called Pitch Perfect in Louisiana for the past few months … and for my contract in that movie I had to stay the same size,” Rebel revealed in an interview.
“I’d lost 10kg and then had to maintain that for the whole movie, which is quite difficult.”
“I was lucky in that I didn’t really have any health issues in that I had to lose weight or my heart would explode, but it was more just feeling more comfortable in myself,” she continued.
Rebel stated that after Pitch Perfect was over, she was determined to lose weight.
It looks like she was serious about that goal, since she declared at the start of the year that 2020 was going to be her “Year of Health.” And, while we might all make similar declarations around the new year, Rebel has clearly stuck to hers.
Rebel let her fans know what her goals were for the year.
“I’ll be honest with you guys — with my ‘Year of Health’ mission I’m trying to get to 75kg’s and career wise am trying to get one of my movies into production before the end of the year!” she wrote earlier this year.
“Both of these things are requiring a daily effort and there’s constant setbacks — but I’m working hard!”
Obviously that hard work is paying off, as shown in these amazing workout pics Rebel shared of herself in front of some gorgeous scenery, captioned “Closer each day.”
Fans couldn’t get over how fantastic she looks!
