The Vampire Diares fans had a scary night on Monday, but not as scary as star Nina Dobrev’s.
Fans were incredibly concerned about Nina’s health after posts made by the actress’ close friend and Dancing With The Stars ‘ Julianne Hough.
Julianne shared some light-hearted shots of herself at the hospital, asking people to guess who she was with.

She initially wrote, “Well, this is my night at the emergency room on a Sunday night with guess who? Thank god I went to visit this little sheesh!”
Eventually, she did reveal that she had accompanied Nina, although she offered no details on why they had visited the ER.
Nina’s fans were immediately concerned.
“Hurts my heart to see her like this,” one fan wrote .
Luckily, Nina took to her Instagram today to clarify what happened. She wrote, “A lot of people have expressed concern after seeing Julianne’s story. I’m okay.”
She explained that because of her allergies, she sometimes has severe reactions, which is what happened to her the night before.

She emphasized that this has happened to her “quite a few times” because she has a lot of allergies, although that probably doesn’t make the experience any less scary.
Sometimes the reaction is so severe that she goes into anaphylactic shock.

These pictures look pretty rough, but Nina assured her fans that it looked worse than it was.
Luckily, she had Julianne with her the entire time.

After reassuring her fans that she was okay, they took to Twitter to wish her a speedy recovery.
“Sending all my love and wishing you a speedy recovery @ninadobrev. Anaphylaxis s***s, I’ve been there. Love you,” one wrote .
Nina shared a video showcasing how much her swelling had gone down.
Fans don’t need to worry any more, but I’m sure Nina appreciates all the love and support being sent her way.
She shared another video of her recovery process.
In the video, she notes that the swelling has gone down even more but since she has to work the next day, she’s undergoing some lymphatic drainage.
That might sound a little gross, but it’s actually not.
It’s a type of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body , which would cause Nina’s swelling to disappear for good.
We’re glad to see Nina doing so well after that scare!
We hope you feel better soon, Nina!
