The ex-wife of Kristin Cabot’s husband has broken her silence following reports of their divorce.
A moment at a Coldplay concert went viral
You’ll remember that in July, Andy Byron, who was the CEO of Astronomer at the time, was spotted getting close with his HR executive Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert in Boston.
It went viral when they ducked out of view
The moment went viral as a fan was filming the ‘kiss cam’ at the concert when it panned to the pair embracing before they both ran to get out of shot.
In the moment, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin even joked, “Oh, look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they’re just really shy.”
Social media quickly found each of them
It quickly came to light who the pair was, as people on social media did their research and learnt that both Byron and Cabot, who were working for Astronomer, were married to different people.
Both Byron and Cabot have since resigned from their positions at the company.
There are now recent updates on Cabot
Cabot recently filed for divorce from her husband, who has issued a statement of his own on the matter.
A spokesperson for Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, told People that he and Kristin had been ‘privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert’.
He hopes things can remain private
The spokesperson for Andrew Cabot said, “Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening.”
“Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”

Since news of the divorce, Cabot’s ex-wife, Julia Cabot, has given her opinion on the situation in an interview with The Daily Mail.
Julia Cabot married Andrew Cabot in 2014 and they got divorced later in 2018.
She said she wasn’t surprised they separated
The ex-wife claimed she wasn’t surprised to learn that Andrew and Kristin were going their separate ways.
She told the outlet, “I got loads of texts from people who heard what happened and 99% of them said the same word: karma.”
She claimed he was ‘not a nice person’
Julia further shared that she had texted her ex-husband after the concert incident, who she says responded with, “Her life has nothing to do with me.”
She further claimed that he is ‘not a nice person’, adding, “Now something not nice [has] happened to him. I got loads of texts from people with that word: karma. It was like: what you give, you get.”
Julia also claimed he’s more worried about the money
She further claimed that Andrew is more concerned with the money, adding, “He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money.”
