One of the most iconic lines in Eminem’s long and legendary rap career is in his long “Lose Yourself” where he describes the lost lunch on his sweater as his “mom’s spaghetti.” What eventually turned into a meme has now become a sweet gesture on Eminem’s part.

Eminem has been making a lot of headlines recently.

Earlier this week, he shared that he was celebrating 12 years of sobriety, writing on Instagram that he had a “Clean dozen, in the books! I’m not afraid.”
The last line is a reference to one of his hit songs, “Not Afraid.”
Em has referenced another one of his iconic songs with a new donation to the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

“Our #HealthcareHeroes ‘lost themselves’ in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @Eminem,” tweeted the Henry Ford News Twitter account, alongside some pictures of hot spaghetti meals with a message from Em himself on them.
“Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members!”

“Such a big heart ❤, he cares so much for his town! Big kudos to Em and to all the heroes of the health system. We send you much love from Italy!” tweeted one fan in response.
“Eminem is a freaking legend,” another fan tweeted.

Alongside the spaghetti were stickers proclaiming them “Mom’s Spaghetti” and a note saying “Thank you frontline caregivers,” from Shady, Em’s alter-ego.
What a fantastic gesture from an icon!
