For the most part, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has kept his son, baby boy X AE A-Xii, off of social media. His longtime girlfriend, Grimes, has shared the odd photo of their son, but now, fans are getting a more up close and personal glimpse of baby X AE A-Xii and can we just say, he’s totally adorable?!
It feels like it was 14 lifetimes ago when the world found out Elon Musk and Grimes had named their baby after their favorite mathematical equation.

Since his birth, baby X AE A-Xii has made headlines for his unique name.
And because he’s the newest son of Tesla billionaire Elon Musk!
Never has a baby been more famous, TBH.
As fans may remember, baby X AE A-Xii’s name has gone through a journey.
Initially, the couple announced his name as X Æ A-12. However, the name was technically not legal considering symbols and numbers cannot be used in legal names in California. So, the name was later changed to X AE A-Xii.
As fans *also* may remember, neither parent could agree on how the name was pronounced.
Thankfully, they both finally settled on the pronunciation of “X” which is much easier for ALL OF US to remember!
The pair have been keeping fans updated with the wellbeing of their son on social media.
However, Grimes and Elon have only shared a few pictures of baby X’s face.
Recently, Grimes posted a photo of her son’s “Viking” haircut and it was so…interesting!
“Haircut inspired by the last kingdom on Netflix which is a masterpiece,” she captioned a shot of the hairstyle.
It’s not that bad in this blurry, front angle pic, but just wait for the next pic.
Baby X looks like a little hockey player with that ‘do!
“Not sure this haircut went well but he’s Viking now,” she added.
Hey, if you can’t have a crazy haircut during a global pandemic, when can you, amirite?!
A few days ago, Grimes posted this sweet photo of baby X from behind.
She captioned it, “Tell me of the waters of your homeworld,” which is the most Grimes caption ever!
That caption doesn’t come as a surprise to fans, who know Grimes has said her baby is into “radical art.”
“In general, stuff for babies is really just creatively bad,” she said back in October. “I don’t want your first introduction to the world to just be all this aimless crap.”
She continued: “OK, wait, wait. I’m not insulting babies. I’m just, it’s all very one vibe. I just feel like getting out of the like, ‘Here’s a zebra and a bear in, like, pastel color tones’ energy. That’s just one very small sort of creative lens that things can be looked at through.”
She added that babies “do have taste. They definitely like some things. They don’t like other things. They fully have opinions.”
“I’ve watched Apocalypse Now and stuff with my baby,” she revealed. “He’s into radical art. Like, he just actually is, and I don’t think it’s problematic to engage with them on that level.”
