Dog The Bounty Hunter star Bonnie Chapman, daughter of Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman and the late Beth Chapman, has been hospitalized following intense back pain.
This comes just weeks after her father, Dog, was hospitalized for a ‘heart emergency.’
Though they initially feared a heart attack, Dog theorized that he was suffering from a ‘broken heart’ following his wife’s passing in June. Dog was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.
Bonnie’s mother, Beth, passed away in June due to complications from cancer.
Beth had been diagnosed with stage four throat cancer in late 2018, and passed away after being placed in a medically induced coma on June 26th of this year.
Only a few weeks after Beth’s passing, Dog’s son Leland was also hospitalized.
On the family’s first manhunt after Beth’s passing, Leland Chapman was the first among his family to arrive at the scene to catch an alleged bail jumper.
The team had pounced on the fugitive to prevent him from escaping, including Leland.
In the ensuing scuffle, Leland tore his ACL . He was taken to the hospital immediately.

Leland broke his silence after the event by sharing a photo of himself at his mother’s funeral.
Leland could be seen with crutches and with his leg in a boot in the group shot.
Unfortunately, the health troubles for the Chapmans don’t seem to be over yet.
In another tragic health scare for the Chapman family, Bonnie, 20, has been admitted to the hospital.
Bonnie wrote on her Instagram story, “Hey guys, I was hospitalized due to a bad case of sciatica. If you watched my live a couple days ago, I was in a lot of pain due to my back.”
Sciatica is pain along the sciatic nerve in your back.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve becomes pinched, usually by a herniated disk in your spine or by an overgrowth of bone (bone spur) on your vertebrae.”
“More rarely, the nerve can be compressed by a tumor or damaged by a disease such as diabetes.”
While Bonnie did not specify the cause of her specific case of sciatica, she did go into more detail on her symptoms.
“This pain came back Tuesday, and yesterday I went to the hospital.”
“I had a heartbeat of 130 bpm, which was worrying because normally 100 and below is good. I’m not in excruciating pain anymore, but I still have some healing to do,” her statement ended.
Bonnie had commented on this pain earlier in the week after sharing this makeup look on her page.
“Thank you guys for watching even though I was in so much pain, I appreciate it. I wish I took better photos but once I went to take them my back was acting out quite a bit,” she wrote.

It appears based on her Instagram story that she’s advertising her services as a makeup artist, so she is at least feeling healthy enough to get back to work.
