The show follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) as he transforms from a scoundrel to one of the tentpole heroes of the expanding galactic rebellion. It takes place roughly five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Throughout the series, Andor transforms from a self-centered individual without a purpose to a person so dedicated to the rebellion’s cause that he would stop at nothing to hasten the Empire’s destruction.
The show’s narrative framework is just one of its many distinctive elements. The primary plotlines of Andor are written and presented in three-episode arcs, which gives the show the impression of having four movies rather than just 12 episodes.
Luna Is Proud Of His ‘Andor’ Family
In an Instagram post shared on Diego’s page, he acknowledges the crew and the effort they put into making Andor a success as he announces the final episode of the season is out with a preview from the movie. Though we are yet to see what it’s all about, however, the clip already suggests we are in for a good ride.
While speaking with Collide , Luna noted that production of season two has kicked off, and though it’s a lot of work, despite getting little to no rest after season one ended, he’s happy with the journey.
