Andor came to an end after releasing twelve fantastic episodes. The show stars Stellan Skarsgard and Diego Luna as the titular would-be rebels and has rapidly made its way onto many people’s rankings of the best Star Wars storylines ever.
Powerful performances and gorgeous photography are combined with the kind of rich, sophisticated storytelling you would expect from an HBO drama, all of which are supported by a complex examination of the politics prevalent in the early days of the Galactic Empire. With how great the film turned out, it undoubtedly featured the most amazing cast, collectively making an effort to give their best, hence why Andor is a success.
The Best ‘Star Wars’ Story Ever Told!
If you’ve seen the movie, you already know that Andor has continued to tell heartrending stories about rebelling against oppressive governments and finding one’s role in the movement.
Despite first being reluctant to become involved, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) discovers first-hand throughout Season 1 the value of fighting back against the Empire. Luna had the chance to examine Cassian’s personality facets throughout twelve episodes, molding him into the battle-hardened character he becomes in Rogue One .
What Is ‘Andor’ About?
The show follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) as he transforms from a scoundrel to one of the tentpole heroes of the expanding galactic rebellion. It takes place roughly five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Throughout the series, Andor transforms from a self-centered individual without a purpose to a person so dedicated to the rebellion’s cause that he would stop at nothing to hasten the Empire’s destruction.
The show’s narrative framework is just one of its many distinctive elements. The primary plotlines of Andor are written and presented in three-episode arcs, which gives the show the impression of having four movies rather than just 12 episodes.
Luna Is Proud Of His ‘Andor’ Family
In an Instagram post shared on Diego’s page, he acknowledges the crew and the effort they put into making Andor a success as he announces the final episode of the season is out with a preview from the movie. Though we are yet to see what it’s all about, however, the clip already suggests we are in for a good ride.
While speaking with Collide , Luna noted that production of season two has kicked off, and though it’s a lot of work, despite getting little to no rest after season one ended, he’s happy with the journey.
What To Expect From Season Two
We are eager to see where the tale goes after “Andor” gave the Star Wars series fresh vitality. However, Season two promises to hold potential and bring more intense action to our screen.
You can watch the entire first season of Andor on Disney+ right now.
