I know we’re all enthralled in Hot Girl Summer, but it looks like we should all start getting ready for next year’s Girl Power Summer, because with two of the world’s biggest girl groups having reunited, I think I might finally be ready for all this jelly.
It looks like Destiny’s Child is planning a huge reunion, inspired by another girl group’s don’t-call-it-a-comeback.

The Spice Girls’ reunion tour has been such a huge success that apparently even Beyoncé took note of it. A source told The Sun that Bey was desperate to get all the girls back in the studio together, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
It’s not the first time these rumors have flown about.

After their brief but wonderful reunion at the 2013 Superbowl, there were apparently plans of an official comeback, but there were some scheduling issues — Beyoncé had a world to take over, after all.
It comes at the perfect time now though.
Michelle joined the group in 2000, which would make next year the twentieth anniversary of Destiny’s Child as we know it. What better way to celebrate two decades of girl power than with a huge tour?!
Besides, if Bey tells you she wants to get the band back together… you get the band back together.

I don’t know about Kelly and Michelle, but I would definitely not be trying to make a habit of saying no to Beyoncé. After all, she’s a survivor, and she’s not gonna give up.
Brb. If you need me, I’ll be in my room, practicing my Say My Name choreography.
