Magician Criss Angel, best known for his television series Criss Angel Mindfreak that aired on A&E, has given an interview to TMZ about a tragic update in his life.
Angel’s 5-year-old son Johnny was initially diagnosed with leukemia in 2015.

In his interview with TMZ, Angel explains, “Johnny Crisstopher — he got diagnosed with pediatric cancer before he was 2 years old.”
“He’s been in treatment for over three years, he’s been in remission.”

“But unfortunately […] he had a relapse and he’s going back into the hospital on Monday,” Angel shared with TMZ. He revealed that he had been spending time with his son at theme parks beforehand.
“That’s why we’re partly out here in California, because we take Johnny to Disney, I’m taking him to Universal tomorrow.”

While speaking to TMZ, Angel also revealed that he plans on hosting an event in Las Vegas next year to raise $5 million for children with pediatric cancer.
“We just want to thank everybody for their support over the years,” Angel said.

“We want to try and raise five million bucks, so we need your help.”
