I like to consider myself to be a fairly well-dressed individual. I tend to follow the typical fashion rules and don’t usually leave the house unless I’m looking semi-acceptable. And although I think I’m pretty fashion savvy, I’ll never turn my head away from learning new fashion and clothing tricks. As it turns out, there are many common fashion mistakes out there, and I’m definitely guilty of a few of the ones that appear on this list. 1. Undershirt

It can be difficult to know which colors look good together when it comes to clothing. For a foolproof outfit, pick one color and rock it head to toe but in varying shades.

It can be difficult to style blouses with pencil skirts, as their high-waist nature can make it hard to tuck shirts in. Knot the end of your blouse, don’t tuck it in, for a flattering look that’s comfortable as well!
16. Athletic Chic
Athletic wear can be super fashionable when worn correctly. The trick here is to not go overboard — think a pair of sneakers, sporty jacket, or relaxed hoodie.
17. Cuff Correctly
I can’t get over how big of a difference such a small step can make. When wearing ankle booties, cuff your jeans to make your legs appear longer!
18. Following The Latest Trends
There’s theoretically nothing wrong with following all the latest trends, but don’t forget to stay true to your own style! It’s very easy to spend money on things that you’re actually never going to wear.

It’s hard to believe that some clothes still require hand washing, but there’s a reason! Always follow the care instructions, even if you think your shirt might be okay in the end.

It’s okay if pants fit you in the bum but not the waist! I mean, it’s really annoying, but if you really like the pants, go get them tailored to fit you. Nothing wrong with that!
25. Thinking Leggings Aren’t Pants
They’re just as much pants as sweatpants are! And they’re super comfy too.
