Bad children are often the products of bad parenting, but, unfortunately, many adults refuse to take responsibility for their failures. More often than not, parents who spoil their children continue enabling their bratty behaviors until it starts affecting others, and even then, they never stop for reevaluation.
How would it look for an adult to argue with a child over half their age when they’re wrong? You don’t have to imagine because this happened in a college in Idaho based on a now-viral video on Reddit .
Parents visited their child in her shared apartment, and then harassed her roommates for allegedly upsetting her, leading to a spar of words. Watch the clip below.

The situation escalated as the roommate reported the girls to her parents for being mean to her when she was the one who upset them. According to their explanation, the girl left their front door open out of spite, thus jeopardizing their safety.
When they called her out and stopped associating with her, the girl framed the story as the victim. Instead of being an adult and finding a diplomatic solution to their tensions in the apartment, the mother decided to act like a child.
She argued with the roommates and forced her way into their space. When they returned her energy and threatened to call the police, she blocked their door and prevented them from going out.
The viral video on TikTok has over 21 million views with over 40,000 comments asking the poster, Jessica Roberts, for updates on the situation. It’s also a buzzing topic on the Public Freakout subreddit .

The girls called the police, but there wasn’t much they could do because it was a joint lease, so they spoke to their landlord to see if they could do anything about the situation. Also, they moved their valuable properties to avoid that family damaging them as revenge.
They reported to the landlord, who asked the roommate for her story, to which she confessed to leaving the door open (most likely to avoid getting evicted.) Roberts and the other three ladies now demand an apology from the roommate’s mother for wrongfully accosting and lying against them.
