Christian Bale, 48, has recently opened up about whether or not he’s willing to reprise his role as Batman.
While The Batman was a smash hit with audiences and critics alike, for many of us, when we think of the caped crusader, we will always think of Christian Bale in The Dark Knight trilogy . Recently, the star was asked if he’d be open to donning the cape and cowl one more time, and he revealed that he was — under one condition.
‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy are some of the best superhero movies of all time.

Of course, they have the iconic Heath Ledger Joker, the Tom Hardy Bane, the Michael Caine Alfred, and the Anne Hathaway Catwoman that we all adored, but a huge part of the film’s success came from Christian Bale’s portrayal of Bruce Wayne, Batman himself.
Recently, Bale was asked if he would ever reprise the role.

In an interview with ComicBook.com Bale was asked if he’d been approached about a fourth Batman film. “Nobody, nobody reaches out to me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me [expletive],” he joked.
He was then asked if he would be open to the idea.

“For me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he ever decided to do it again and if he chose to come my way again, then yeah, I would consider it because that was always our pact between each other is we would just stick to it,” Bale revealed .
“We said we would only ever make three. And then I said to myself, and I’d only ever make it with Chris.”

What do you think? Would you be excited to see Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan team up for another crack at a Batman film, or are you down to let Robert Pattinson continue to grow the character himself? Let us know in the comments!
