There are few TV duos that are as beloved as Law & Order: SVU ‘s Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson. Stabler and Benson. Benson and Stabler. It just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? As fans of SVU know, Chris Meloni’s spin-off series, Law & Order: Organized Crime premiered earlier this month to rave reviews.
Now, Chris is teasing fans with the possobility of a Stabler and Benson romance.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Det. Elliot Stabler and Det. Olivia Benson were on our screens together.

Chris left the series (on a very emotional note) back in 2011.
Now, Elliot is back with his franchise spin-off Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Now, he’s teasing fans with possibility of a Stabler + Benson romance.

“There’s a world of possibility,” the 60-year-old actor told People during a recent interview.
“Obviously, we recognized it when we were together on *SVU*,” he continued.
“We were always kind of toying with that, leaning into that, teasing with that.”
Of course, Chris adds there’s still “a lot of ‘splainin to do” in upcoming episodes when it comes to the 10 years the pair have spent apart.
“I think we’re going to stumble bumble, as I think most human beings do, through complicated areas or difficult terrain, emotional terrain,” he added.

“What are the answers? Really, there are no answers right now. And I think that’s the art and the beauty of what we do, the writers get together and they create these connections or circumstances and the actors get to play them out, so I’m excited.”
I TOO AM EXCITED, CHRIS!
