Tom Selleck’s brow game is still super strong, but it’s really hard to believe that guy on the right is really him without his signature Mr. Potato Head ‘stache.

The actor’s Transformers days may have ended for him back in 2011, but his bearded transformation definitely did not.
Shia looks pretty fierce with this beard, and he definitely means business.

With a beard, Donald Glover transforms from Childish Gambino into Young Adult Hipster Gambino for sure.
Donald Glover got serious with his music and grew facial hair. It seems to be some unspoken requirement.

Jason Momoa still hasn’t brushed his hair since 2011 during his stint playing Conan in Conan the Barbarian, but everything about his 2017 furry aesthetic is fierce.
Regardless, I would not want to get on his bad side.

The question is, what hasn’t Jared Leto tried with his hair? He’s done super short and clean-shaven and now long, luscious, and bearded.
Somehow, Jared looks more approachable with a burly beard.
He clearly isn’t afraid to switch up his look, even bravely letting Jimmy Fallon trim up his beard a bit on the late night host’s show.
Leto’s beard is like a child to him, so that definitely took some guts!

I actually think Adam Levine’s stubble gives him the strength to quickly sass Blake Shelton hard on The Voice .
Without it, he looks like he would just sit there and actually let Blake talk, which we know wouldn’t be right.
