Celebrity cameos and guest appearances happen all the time in the world of TV and movies. For the most part, they’re just a lot of fun for both the fans and the celebrity in question .
But there are plenty that just don’t age well . In those cases, it’s usually because the guests in question turned out to be people who have done some bad stuff (or who have had their public image go downhill). Like the ones in this list.
CeeLo Green in ‘Teen Titans Go.’

In an episode of the Cartoon Network show, Green appears (alongside some other celebrities, including Fall Out Boy) to help save the world using the power of music. Or something like that. Still baffling they chose CeeLo for the episode, which aired in 2017.
Well after his sexual assault allegations.
These allegations date all the way back to 2012, when a woman accused the singer of drugging and subsequently assaulting her . Given the fact that he also managed to re-appear on The Voice a year after the Teen Titans Go! episode, it seems like the TV world is trying to get us to forget that.
Chris Brown in ‘The OC.’

In 2007, Brown appeared in a few episodes of the show as a student. At the time, it would’ve been really exciting for his fans, as his career had been really taking off at the time.
But of course, nowadays he’s pretty well known for being incredibly violent toward women.
Just two years later, news broke that he’d been physically assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna. Since then, he’s had more instances of violent and abusive behavior toward women , though it strangely hasn’t affected his music career that much.
Louis C.K. in ‘Saturday Night Live.’

Louis C.K. has had a number of cameos and appearances over the years, but his appearance in a certain SNL skit from 2014 was a little too on the nose. In it, he plays a creepy, pervy detective who spends the entirety of the sketch pressuring his partner into sleeping with him.
Which feels wrong, given his sexual harassment allegations.
Even long before the 2017 sexual misconduct allegations surfaced , the comedian’s less-than-stellar behavior around women was a well-known rumor in certain circles. Of course, he later admitted to the misconduct, but that doesn’t make this SNL skit any less uncomfortable to watch.
Lance Armstrong in ‘Dodgeball.’

At one point in time, Armstrong was a beloved athlete. It’s hard to think that’s the case now, though. But his 2004 cameo in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story happened years before the doping allegations.
Which, of course, turned out to be true.
An inspirational speech about not giving up from an inspirational athlete? Great! An inspirational speech from an athlete who went on to be disgraced and lose several titles and awards because he was found guilty of doping? Not great.
Michael Jackson in ‘Men in Black II.’

To be honest, any Michael Jackson cameo in something remotely appealing to kids is just uncomfortable, given the years and years worth of molestation and abuse allegations the late singer has been faced with.
His ‘Men in Black II’ cameo was especially poorly timed.
Though he managed to beat the accusations in the ’90s, a 2003 documentary led to Jackson’s arrest . This was, of course, just a year after he appeared in Men in Black II .
Matt Lauer in ‘The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.’

The former Today anchor was fired in 2017 after news of his sexual misconduct had surfaced. Since then, he’s all but disappeared from the public eye, a far cry from his presence on NBC.
But before those allegations came to light, he made an appearance on ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.’
In it, he says, “I’m always amazed at what women will do because they’re afraid of being r**e.” That line in itself really aged badly.
O.J. Simpson in ‘Roots.’

In the 1970s, O.J. Simpson was one of the best, most recognizable football players in the history of the game. To the point where he began appearing in shows and movies. Among others, one of his more notable appearances is in the 1977 miniseries, Roots .
And of course, none of his guest appearances have aged well.
Simpson’s public perception took a nosedive when he was accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, as well as Ron Goldman in 1994 . Even though he was never convicted, most believe he really was guilty. So, yeah.
Harvey Weinstein in ‘My Scene Goes Hollywood: The Movie.’

In 2017, Weinstein was accused of sexual assault by a number of women. As many as 80 women have since come forward , and the initial accusations propelled the #MeToo movement into public consciousness.
So, seeing the man appear in a kids movie is especially jarring.

Seeing a bunch of teenage girls obsess over the now-disgraced Hollywood producer in this 2005 film is the absolute definition of something aging like milk.
Donald Trump in ‘Home Alone 2.’

In 1992, businessman turned celebrity (later turned former president) Donald Trump allowed director Chris Columbus to film in the Plaza Hotel, his property at the time, so long as he got a cameo appearance .
Over two decades later, Trump’s presidency made the cameo age pretty badly.
The former president is incredibly polarizing, to say the least. To the point where fans of the beloved ’90s Christmas sequel have expressed their wish to remove the cameo altogether .
James Woods in ‘Dice.’

The short-lived series had a cameo from James Woods back in 2017, which is also in and around the time the actor began his descent into far-right politics that left a bad taste in fans’ mouths.
Not to mention the fact that he also has some #MeToo allegations against him.
Not long before this guest appearance, Amber Tamblyn accused Woods of trying to pick her up when she was just 16 . Talk about a horribly-timed appearance.
