Actress and ’90s icon Candace Cameron Bure is best known for being timeless and eternally youthful. I mean seriously, she looks the exact same as she did 20 years ago.
With over 4 million Instagram followers, Candace has a lot of social media relevance. Because of that, she tries to follow as many politically diverse people as possible.
Now, she’s firing back at fans who have a problem with that.
Candace Cameron Bure’s Instagram is filled with cute selfies, pictures of her family, and promotional posts.

In fact, the 44-year-old is promoting her latest children’s book, “Candace’s Playful Puppy” on her social media outlets.
SHE TRULY DOES NOT QUIT!
Unfortunately, it seems Candace’s Instagram page has sparked some controversy over the past few weeks.
Remember when her family Christmas card sparked backlash because of how ~ high fashion~ it was?
Oh, you don’t remember?

Let’s just take a quick stroll down petty memory lane, shall we?
The drama all started when Candace shared her family’s annual Christmas card, which featured herself, her husband Valeri, and their three children: 22-year-old daughter Natasha, 20-year-old son Lev, and 18-year-old son Maksim.
“Happy New Year from the Bures!! Looking forward to what 2021 has in store,” her caption began.

“I’m praying for unity, grace, humility, compassion and love for mankind. With God, all things are possible.”
The photo features all family members posing in different directions and for seemingly different photos.

While lots of comments were positive, some felt the picture was a little too high fashion for a family photoshoot.
“What’s wrong with Natasha, looks like she’s photoshopped,” wrote one fan.
“Why do your daughter & son look so angry???” asked another.
“Fakest family ever! Who does this? Is it a catalog picture? And those dead looks on your kids’ faces says it all,” commented another.
The backlash was so bad, Candace had to speak out against the haters.
“Do you think it’s funny to criticize someone’s children? To make jokes about them? To critique our poses? The direction in which we are looking? Our physical appearance and facial expressions?” she [wrote on Facebook] ( https://www.facebook.com/candacecameron/posts/10157957620581309 ).
Sadly, it seems the Candace Instagram drama train continues.
This time, some fans have a bone to pick with the actress about who she follows on social media.
A glimpse at Candace’s follows on social media shows a wide range of political figures from both the left and the right, including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, Melania Trump, and Candace Owens.
Now, Candace is firing back at fans who have a problem with her variety of follows.

“I read several comments from people, and I think there’s quite a bit of new followers, so thank you if you’re still around for following me here,” she said last week, according to E! News .
“People that were disappointed or told me that they were unfollowing me because of the people I choose to follow on Instagram.”
“And it’s always strange to me because I follow a very broad range of people—politically, within my work industry and then personal friends and things I like.”
“But a follow does not mean an endorsement,” she clarified.
“A follow does not mean I agree with everything they say and do. It just means I follow a broad range of people so that I have perspective.”
“I want to know what’s going on in the world, I want to hear different sides of the argument.”

She continued: “I follow people in entertainment that I don’t necessarily agree with or act the same way, but I want to hear what our society, what culture is dishing out.”
“I follow left and right, but it doesn’t make my blood boil,” she explained.

“I don’t get angry at it. So maybe it’s healthy for some of you not to follow people you disagree with. But it doesn’t upset me—it just gives me perspective.”
