It turns out that even celebrities can get worried about their careers!
You might think that raking in a six figure income would render you immune to much of the stress of not performing well at your job, but it turns out that is not the case — at least it’s not for actress Candace Cameron Bure.

If you’ve looked a television pretty much ever in the last few decades, you’ve probably seen Candace Cameron Bure.
Of course, starring in one of the world’s favorite classic sitcom (she was DJ Tanner on Full House ) and then reprieving the role in a fantastic sequel series on Netflix (seriously, watch Fuller House if you haven’t already) will do that for you!
Of course, it’s not just *Full House* you’ve probably seen her in.
Candace also has been gaining a ton of fame and success for her consistent work in Hallmark’s famous Christmas movies, and she’s pretty much the perfect person for the job! I can’t remember watching one that I didn’t absolutely love.
Candace is pretty much the QUEEN of Christmas.
Every year, her latest Christmas movie tops her previous Christmas movie when it comes to the ratings! It turns out that can put a lot of pressure on a girl.
In a new podcast interview , Cameron opened up about the anxieties she has about the Christmas movies.
“I worry all the time about my movies,” Candace revealed.
“I actually got sick to my stomach on this last Christmas movie that aired in November because I’ve created an anxiety for myself because my movies have been the top-performing movie seven years in a row, and you know, one day you’re going to slide off that pedestal,” Candace said.
Candace opened up about how that pressure gets to her.
“And so every year, it kind of makes me sicker and sicker every time I have a movie to come out because I’m like, ‘Is this going to be the year? Is this it?'”
Candace revealed that this nervousness hit her particularly hard this year.
“And I had to have a come to Jesus moment with myself in 2020 because I thought, ‘Why are you doing this?’ Meaning, why are you making the movies? I had to bring it back to my why, my why that I set 12 years ago, coming back to the industry,” Candace went on.
Candace said she’s learned to not worry about the ratings.
“I had to remind myself of my why and then let it go and just say, ‘You know what, it doesn’t matter what those ratings are,'” she said.
As long as we get our Christmas Candace fix, I couldn’t agree with her more!
Of course, just because she’s good at making these movies doesn’t mean they’re easy!
In another recent intervew , Candace was asked about making the movies, “I mean really, how hard is it? Don’t you get that all the time?”
“Can we just talk about this for a second?” she said. “I get that all the time. ‘How hard is it to be in a Hallmark movie?’ Like, ‘Can I be in a Hallmark movie?'”
Candace had pretty much the perfect shut down.
“And I’m like, ‘Are you a professional actor? No? Then no, you cannot,'” she responded.
“You can be a background person, they’re called extras,” she did eventually concede.
I would take that offer!
Candace made it clear that it wasn’t for just anyone!
“If you don’t have a speaking part, that’s easy. I can make that happen. If you have a speaking part, then we’re gonna have to make sure you can do the job,” Candace finished.
It looks like making Christmas movies isn’t the fun walk in the snowy park we might’ve assumed!
It’s a good thing Candace has managed to keep such a good head on her shoulders about the entire process and the ratings, because we look forward to seeing her on our television screens every year for the holidays!
