Congratulations are in order for actress Candace Cameron Bure and her hubby Valeri Bure, who are celebrating 25-years of marriage this week! In Hollywood years, that’s essentially six lifetimes!
The pair, who tied the knot back in 1996, have three children together — 22-year-old daughter Natasha, 21-year-old son Lev, and 19-year-old son, Maksim.
Now, Candace is telling fans the secret to her quarter-century-long union!
Okay, I’m not one for cheesy couple things, but please note the matching, embroideredThe sweatshirts Candace and her hubby Val got made for their 25th wedding anniversary.

The crewnecks feature the pair’s last name Bure, with a heart by the neckline, as well as the year of the wedding, 1996, stiched into the sweater.
A few months ago, Candace got candid about the pair’s upcoming milestone anniversary.

While appearing on an episode of Daily Blast Live, Candace talked about how she’s still so attracted to her husband decades later.
“The longer that you’re married it’s so easy to take each other for granted,” she explained, as per Yahoo.

“You know each other so well that you forget, so you have to keep it spicy and I love that.”
“My husband and I do. That’s one of the reasons we’ll be celebrating 25 years of marriage this year,” she added.
Her advice to couples wanting to try this out? “Just do something unexpected!”
“Maybe lay in a way that you don’t normally lay,” she laughed.

“He’ll be like ‘Woah.’ You’ll surprise him!” Candace added.
Love it or hate it, her honesty about sex is so refreshing!
Now, Candace is giving her followers the best advice she has to help others celebrate so many years of happiness.

Posting pictures from their romantic getaway, Candace wrote: “June 22nd we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary! 25 years!”
She continued:

“Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and, in humility, our willingness to trust Him and allow those who’ve gone before us and those who haven’t but know God’s Word to speak into us.”
“And grateful for every other bit of solid advice and encouragement in between.”

“I’m often asked for marriage advice. What’s the secret? Lord knows I will never write a book about it because we are still learning every year, every day.”
“Grace. Grace. Grace. Communication (which is so important but difficult when one partner isn’t willing.) Sex. Laughter. Patience. Lots of patience.”

“Love (a verb. which must be put into action, it’s not just a feeling.)”
“No marriage is picture-perfect,” she continued.

“Not one. And certainly not ours. But through thick and thin, ups and downs, God has blessed us tremendously with guidance and perseverance. I believe God is the secret sauce.”
Candace concluded: “I have more love for this man today than the day we married each other. And I know he does for me . Praise the Lord.”

So happy to see this pair so in love after all these years!
Wishing Candace and Val many more years together and in love!
