Okay, let’s see if I can get through this article without making myself a strong cosmopolitan and crying tears of joy. After a FABULOUS season 1 of the Sex and the City reboot series, And Just Like That … it is confirmed that we’re getting our Aidan Shaw BACK for the second season.
As you can imagine, I’m going through a rush of emotions as I’m sure you are, too!

While the show was received lukewarm, to say the least, I loved it and thought it was the perfect combo of heartwarming second-hand embarrassment and laughter — not unlike the original series!
Back in March, fans were told by executive producer Michael Patrick King that we were getting a second season of shenanigans.
“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters—played by these powerful, amazing actors,” Michael said at the time.
Now, it has been confirmed that John Corbett, AKA everyone’s favorite boyfriend Aidan Shaw, is going to be (actually) coming back for the reboot.
I say actually because it was rumored that he was coming back last season and just like that … it never happened.
But now, Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed his return!
“Could be, could be,” Parker told Entertainment Tonight when asked if he would return. “Well, you know, I can’t be like, cryptic about it anymore.”
I can’t wait to see what happens.
