Steve Irwin would definitely be incredibly proud of his family. Not only are they continuing his legacy of animal rights and environmental activism, but his kids really do seem like well-rounded, all around good people.
His daughter, Bindi, recently announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend Chandler Powell.
The emotional photographs were shared to her Instagram page, where she revealed it was her brother Robert who took the pictures and captured the sweet moment.

Bindi and Robert then proceeded to break everyone’s hearts again when they announced that Robert would be walking her down the aisle.
“It’s what Dad would’ve wanted,” Bindi said in an interview, where she also stated, “I’m always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life.”
“I really want to include Dad on the day and make sure that he is with us in some way.”
Bindi recently spoke to People about her wedding plans to honor her dad, saying she wanted to make sure there were “just little bits of Dad that will make it feel like he’s there with us.”
“We’ll have a candle lighting ceremony,” she continued.
“So we’ll be able to all get up as a little family and light a candle in his honor and share a few words on what an amazing dad he was and still is.”
