There’s been an ongoing debate about which season reigns supreme since viewers binge-watched the second season of beloved Netflix series, Bridgerton .
Now, it’s been reported that the second installment broke Netflix streaming records, which I believe finally draws a line in the sand. I’m sorry, my dear, handsome, yogurt-spoon-loving Duke of Hastings, but season two is now officially better than season one.
According to “TheWrap” the sophomore season of ‘Bridgerton’ is Netflix’s most-watched English language series in history.
I mean, are we surprised? Not to brag, but I’m sure I contributed to these numbers considering I’ve watched the entire season back to back about 9 times already.
“TheWrap” reports that the second season has been watched for a staggering 627.11 MILLION minutes. That’s in less than a month, people!

Dethrowning its own first season, this is the first time in history that a show has held the #1 1 and #2 record for most combined time watched.
To be fair, I don’t think any “Bridgerton” fan didn’t see this coming — we’ve been waiting for ages!
I wonder how the third season will stack up with Benedict in the driver’s seat.
While I can’t be sure, something is telling me it will be just as legendary as the first two seasons.
